雅思口语历史类话题

雅思口语重在日常积累和练习,但并非茫无目的。我们必须针对不同的话题,分门别类,进行强化训练,只有这样才能脚踏实地,提高口语水平。

1. Do you like history?

Yes. I love history very much. According to my first history teacher, there are many branches in history including war history, political history, economic, social, international and ancient. My favorite is the Chinese ancient history.

2. Do you think history is important?

Yes, of course. From history we can use knowledge of past events to study things that aren't currently happening. for example, we sometimes need to learn about war while we are still in peacetime. Also history helps us know how our culture is developed so that we get a better understanding of our present.

3. Does china have a long history?

Yes, definitely. China is one of the four great ancient civilizations. It has five thousand years of history during the Chinese ancient myth. Calculated from Qin Dynasty, the first united empire, it still has two thousand and two hundred years of history.

4. Do you think you can learn history from films or TV programs?

By some means yes. But I can’t agree with it completely. There’re many documentaries and forums dedicated to tell us about real history, meanwhile some films and TV series that tell stories in the past actually don’t have anything to do with history. Some audience might get confused or even misled by them.

5. Do you think the internet is a good way to learn about history?

Yes, I think so. We can get lots of information from the internet, including old photos and films, articles and books written by famous people and so on. All these are good ways to learn about history. And we can get them free instantly. With that we no longer need to buy tons of books or go to the library.

范文

When I was a pimply teen in middle school, I had to change my plans at the last-minute and revert to Plan B. The master plan involved a visit to the aquarium, where we planned to see the sights and sounds of this magical place. We were so excited and looked forward to an afternoon of browsing the beautiful marine life on offer. The plan was to head downtown and buy the tickets.

I love aquariums because I get lost in the ambience and beauty of the fish tanks. The lights and the colors are magnificent and the sharks make my heart skip a beat. I can lose myself in this environment because I love animals and I gm fascinated by ocean creatures.

On this May Day, things didn't go according to plan. In fact, when we got to the ticket office there was a queue a mile long! There were people as far as the eye could see. Everybody wanted to go to the aquarium on that day and we didn't have the patience to wait that long. So, we headed off to the mall feeling disappointed and went straight to clothes shops.

When I think back on our situation, I’m quietly relieved that we still found a way to achieve a positive situation. In the end we saved a few bucks and still had the chance to hang out and chat.

范文

In my leisure time, I always have a fantasy about a perfect holiday I will have in the future. My perfect holiday doesn’t mean that it will be extravagant or intricate. The simple and relaxing travel is the style I want to have for my holiday.

In my perfect holiday, the destination of this travel is somewhere near the sea but not the famous scenic spots. The famous scenic spots are always full of visitors, noisy and annoying. I want to go to some places quiet and peaceful, which allows me to admire the miracle of the nature. I don’t have a boyfriend yet, but I would like to come to this place with my lover in the next five or ten years. I think traveling with the one I love will add some unexpected fun to the holiday. The hotel I’m going to stay in must face the ocean, with the view of whole sea through the window.

The plan of this travel is also simple. In the morning, we will stay in bed, seeing the sun rise from the sea level. Then we are going to get out for some fresh air, lying on the beach or swimming in the sea at will. When the sunset comes, walking along the sea is a pretty good choice, where we can talk to each other about the hope of our future. At night, we might drink a little wine in the hotel, watching some soap operas or finishing some work, cozy and pleased.

Maybe this kind of vacation is not appealing in some people’s eyes, but this calmness and peace is the most important thing for me in the vacation. In my view, the purpose of vacation is to help you get out of the busy ordinary life. The places shat I mentioned above can help me refresh myself and forget the pressure and business temporary. I look forward to this vacation in the future.

范文

It is hard to go out and not spend any money. However, one day, I actually managed to accomplish this feat. I actually had the time of my life too and would love to share the experience with you.

One day, I felt like I wanted to get out and spend some time with Mother Nature. I knew there was a lovely park in the suburbs that l could visit in order to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The scenery at this park is out of this world. There are so many trees, shrubs and flowers that I am always in awe when I see it. Plus, it is in a remote location, so it is very quiet. This always helps me kick and relax.

Visiting this park is one of the most inexpensive things I could have done. First of all, in order to get there, I had to take a boat. Luckily, the ticket for this did not cost on arm and a leg. Once I made it to the suburbs, I rode my bike to the park. Best of all, when I arrived, there was no entrance fee for the park, so I simply enjoyed my day. I even brought a picnic lunch with me, so I didn't have to spend money on food while I was out. It was amazing and I wish I could enjoy life like this more often.
