and why you were not allowed to use your phone

雅思口语真题范文part2事件类:禁用手机范文:

The last time that I was not allowed to use my mobile phone was last year, when I was preparing for my final examination at my place.

During that period, my mother realized that I relied excessively on mobile phone and could not focus on my study very well. So she asked me to shut it down every time I doing exercise until I finish my examination. I was not so pleased to follow such thing, coz like I said before, I was dependent on my mobile phone very much. For example, I liked to post something interesting or maybe something that really made me sad on the social media platform, so that I could share my feelings and experience with other people.

However, without my phone, I could not do so to release my pressure or get connected with my friends. At so beginning,I felt uncomfortable and sometimes annoyed with turning off my cell phone for early few days.

Even, I felt lonely and isolated when I stayed at the room with my own. But after a while, I gradually got used to this. What surprised me a lot was that,I found I had much time to be absorbed in my work. Now, I still keep the habit,to turn off my

mobile phone at the time I need to deal with my work.

Where you went

What you did

When you did it

Who you went with

And explain why it was enjoyable

雅思口语真题范文part2事件类:郊外经历范文:

Well, I’d like to talk about the time when I went back to my grandmother’s hometown during last year’s Spring Festival. That place is a village in rural area of my city, which is located in southeast of China. There were five of us going there, including my parents, my grandparents and I. The environment of that place was peaceful and quiet, so we had a blast at that moment.

Like I have mentioned before, we went there to celebrate Spring Festival, and it was also the first time I visited my grandmother’s hometown.

Unlike urban area, the sceneries were picturesque. I enjoyed lush fields and rolling hills. And there was a crystal clear lake not far away from where we stayed. At nightfall, our family took a stroll around the lake. My father also shared some stories about his childhood in this small village, which was really fun and memorable for him. When night comes, I met many relatives and participated in the great time of family reunion. We had a great meal together and exchange our best wishes. And I got a lot of red pockets. I could see every one involved in festival atmosphere were exciting and overjoyed. So I think it is absolutely an enjoyable experience that deserves sharing with others at this moment.

雅思口语真题范文part2事件类:参加的有趣演讲

Describe an interesting speech that you attended.

You should say:

When you heard it

Where you heard it

What it was about

And explain why you think it was interesting

雅思口语真题范文part2事件类:参加的有趣演讲范文:

Ok right then, well I’ve decided to talk about a speech I once heard that left a really deep impression on me, and it was by a guy called Li Kaifu, who I’m not sure if you’ve heard of before, but he’s one of the most accomplished and respected businessmen here in China, which is why I made the effort to listen to what he had to say. And I listened to it at home on my computer, cos I was lucky enough to find an mp3 recording online of a speech he once gave at Beijing University.

But anyway, as for what he talked about, well it was quite a while ago when I heard it, probably about two or 3 years ago, so I can only remember bits of it, but in a nutshell, it was about success and how we can go about achieving it. So for example, one thing he touched upon was how we should all follow our dreams, instead of simply doing what other people expect of us. And hearing this from Li Kaifu really made me believe in the truth of that statement, because he’s speaking from experience.

So I thought it was really informative and I was able to learn a tremendous amount from it, such as, you know, how to be successful in what we do, and also what values we should live our lives by. What else?……um……Oh yeah, and another thing that made his talk especially interesting was the fact that he used a lot of stories. So I mean, even though his talk went on for over an hour or so, I didn’t feel bored at all listening to it. So um yeah, that’s pretty much everything I can remember about it. Thanks for listening!
