雅思g类大作文范文一:

均衡营养是健康生活的关键

Although a balanced diet is important, there are other factors which contribute to a healthy life. People in some cultures do not eat a balanced diet, but use limited foodsources. In addition, lack of stress could well be as important as diet.

One culture related reason concerns environmental or climatic conditions. The Inuit, in the Arctic Circle, live in harsh surroundings and their major source of food for many months of the year is fish. Nutritionists in industrialized countries would not consider their diet balanced or even healthy, yet Inuit people have flourished in food from the sea for centuries. Another cultural reason is religion based. Many Hindus are vegetarians because of their religion. Again, many dieticians claim that vegetarianism is unbalanced because humans need protein, especially from animals. Hindus, however, seem to be quite healthy, suffering no ill effects from the lack of animal protein.

The major reason for disagreeing with the balanced diet argument, however, is to do with stress. Even though people in the past did not always have a balanced diet, something existing only on potatoes and bread, they lived healthy lives because there afflicts urban residents today. Secondly, there is a large percentage of contemporary people who do their jobs, then relax in front of the TV, and quite often eat junk food. But seem healthy enough. They may be spared disease by their relatively stress free lives.

In conclusion, although it is undeniable that a balanced diet is of some importance to health, there are no doubt more factors that may get involved in affecting people’s health in terms of living environment, climate and stress in them.

教学能力

>Being an effective teacher is about having knowledge from training and experience from practice. While teaching capabilities can be developed with experience, it is also important that you should learn professional skills through special training in the first place. In general, school children are expected to benefit from those teachers who have enough pre-job training as well as on-job practice.

On the one hand, some people say that an excellent teacher ought to be formally trained. Based on this view, to be successful in the teaching career, it is necessary to go through a seriesof training sessions for obtaining sufficient knowledge related to teaching strategy and psychology that lead to a satisfactory job. For example, the making of a teacher is not very unlike the making of a lawyer. Just as a qualified lawyer should require a great deal of information about laws, so should a qualified teacher know much about teaching methods. That is to say, training can make a difference in the teaching work. This is probably why in many countries exist a range of Teachers' Colleges or Normal Universities.

On the other hand, others believe that a great teacher is born rather than trained, as if being independent of experience. According to this opinion, even though pre-job training is useful to some extent, what matters seems to be that kind of passion which is similar to natural experience. So much so, teaching capabilities are not only powered by career passion but also grow along with experience. Hence, there may be no absolute need to acquire sufficient teaching techniques beforehand. In short, you can either do with or do without training to become an outstanding teacher.

On the whole, it is debatable whether you think that a good teacher should acquire enough training or that teaching capabilites can be developed with experience. There is no easy answer to this question. The answer depends on who you ask, of course.

重犯出狱

Setting dangerous criminals free is not unlike putting the society to throw dice with security because this game is exactly the case with the re-introduction of criminals in society in the sense that good luck and bad luck are mixed with results remaining to be seen. Chances are habitual evil-doers, once set free from jail, continue to present a constant threat to the security of communities. Unless some critical rules of the game are changed in reverse, the re-introduction system cannot be justified.

For want of another word, "revolving" is an adjective that may be used to describe a prison door. The door keeps turning around to let criminals in and out. More often than not, criminals are set free, caught again, free again, back to jail again, soon out again, only to be caught again, and then free again. Most criminals are said to have become immune to correction measures as punishments for their crimes. Alternatively, convicted criminals are now in jail, and later roaming in society. Such a vicious cycle makes neither economic sense nor social sense. In the end, the society turns out to be a sure loser.

True enough, keeping criminals longer in prisons means higher costs. As such, this is an economic loss for the society. From an opposite point of view, letting them out means the society is likely to pay another price: security. On balance, if money is not the issue, dangerous criminals had better be kept where they belong for a longer period of time. In the presence of rising crime rates in society, the wisdom is safety first.

It's time to review the re-introduction system while the prison door is "revolving." As crimes and punishments are out of steps, there leaves much room for doubt about the game being played in favor of criminals rather than of the society. Admitting that all men are created equal, nothing can justify serious crimes not being punished severely.

雅思g类大作文范文四:

晚生孩子

Parenting may be as late as possible, but not later. Research shows that by the age of 30, a woman's chances of conceiving begin to dwindle. There are advantages to having children young, although these days life is rarely that simple. The argument is that, if people want children at all, it is better to start as early as possible for the development of the family and the country.

Good or bad, late parenting is a new fashion. Despite cases related to unwanted teenage pregnancies, many people choose to become parents later in life. This social mainstream is particularly obvious among people of the middle class in most developed countries. It is clear enough that many women are putting off babies for career and financial reasons. Besides, if people are planning a one-child or two-child family, there is indeed no such a hurry to be 'in the family way' like those old-fashioned women a couple of generations ago. No wonder that people prefer to wait until they think they are 'ready' to become parents, no matter how late it might be or what could happen as a result.

Relatively, the consequences are more negative than positive, not just for the family but also for the country. Generally speaking, late parenthood would mean a surplus of old people and not enough workers. This is likely to stymie the country's economy. In contrast, more teenage mothers would mean a population--economic--boom. Based on this presumption, women should finish having their families when they are younger 【than 30】 and then have more years of employment ahead of them. As expected, their children would also sooner come into the labor force and add to the national economic growth.

In sum, there seem to be alarm bells on late parenting because this could benefit neither the development of the family nor the society in the economic context. While the decision to become parents later in life is personal, even realistic; the time for a woman to get pregnant is certainly not 'forever'. In parenting, it is one thing that modern people do not desire having one too many, but it is quite another to be too late to become parents for at least once.
