范文

When I was a child, I was obsessed with different kinds of toys. But my most favorite toy was BARBIE doll. At that time, BARBIE doll was an expensive toy and my parents weren’t willing to buy me one. However, the beautiful clothes BARBIE wears and small furniture it has cannot be removed from my mind. I decided to make every effort to get one BARBIE doll. I tried to make a deal with my parents, doing chores, buying less snacks and taking care of my brother to exchange a BARBIE doll. Finally, my parents agreed to buy me one. At my 8th birthday, I got my first BARBIE toll of my life.

I can’t express how joyful I was when I received the BARBIE doll as my birthday gift. I couldn’t even wait for the end of the celebration for my birthday and held the box containing my BARBIE toys running into my bedroom. I opened the box immediately and lay the dresses and furniture of the BARBIE on my bed. I still remember there were three different dresses to change and a whole set of furniture for afternoon tea. I touched them gently with my full love, cherishing them more than my own real clothes.

I’m very grateful for the BARBIE doll’s accompanying. At that time, the BARBIE’s dresses were the most beautiful dress I could ever imagine. I dreamed one day when I could have such beautiful dresses and show them in front of everyone’s eyes. This immature idea looked funny in these days, but the time I spent with my BARBIE doll can never be replaced. With my age growing, the second and third BARBIE dolls couldn’t bring about so much joy than the first BARBIE doll did. This will always be my precious experience for my whole life.

范文:

When I was a child, I received a Barbie doll as a gift from my father's friend. He bought the toy from the States.

I played with this Barbie doll almost every day. I begged my grandma to make clothes for her and dressed her like a princess or a super star. She was my favorite toy for a long time. I always put her besides my pillow.

I felt super happy when I received this Barbie doll. The doll had long hair, big eyes, and beautiful skirt. When I was a child, Barbie doll was very expensive and my parents couldn't afford to buy it, so Barbie doll had been a dream gift for me. To some extent, receiving the doll was a dream coming true. I saw it as a valuable gift and tried to keep it in a good shape. I also felt thankful for my father's friend who brought this happiness to me.

雅思口语toy话题如何描述

Describe a special toy you had in your childhood.

You should say:

what it was

who gave it to you

how often you played with it

and explain why it was special to you.

范文:

When I was five years old, I had an accident and was admitted in the hospital. I was required to stay in bed for at least two months. Days in the patient ward wasn’t as dull as I expected it to be. Actually the first week was quite fun. I could watch TV in bed and chat with my fellow “roommates” and my family visited me everyday.

But after a while, the hospital gradually started to lose its charm. I was getting bored when my Dad showed up. With a hat in his hand, he started to perform magic tricks. Out of thin air, he produced a flower and put it in the hat. Guess what happened next? He made a magic cube from the hat.

I was immediately in love with the magic cube. Time seemed to go much faster when my Dad taught me how to play it. Before I knew it, I was running around again. Till this day I play it on a daily basis. It always reminds me of my special bonding time with my Dad.

雅思口语描述a toy

范文1:

I want to describe a toy in my childhood. Actually, it was not a girly toy. It is a model car.

When I was a kid, I acted like a boy and I was very interested in car models and guns. But my mother didn’t know that and she bought many dolls for me. To tell you the truth, my father found that I liked model cars, so he bought me one as a little present.

It’s as big as a book and the color was very bright, it was red. I think the car was cool and I liked it very much. I would always take it out and study it. I figured out many functions of the car. I felt it was amazing that people could invent this tool for transportation.

Since it was the gift that my father gave me, I kept it very carefully. Even now, it still looks like a brand new car. I think it’s very meaningful for a kid to own something that they like.

范文2:

Wow, I had to think really hard to find a toy that I really loved playing with. Among the toys I had, ranging from Lego bricks to rubber band-powered gliders, the one that was most sentimental to me was this “War Castle” toy.

It’s a toy set consisting of plastic bricks 【made to look like castle walls】, the castle itself of course, a catapult and disks you can launch with. This toy is intended for two players, with each player setting up their “camps” 2 meters away from each other. You can stack the brick walls anyway you like in front of the castle and the aim is to topple your opponent’s by launching the rounded disks using the rubber band-powered catapult. It’s no easy thing to do as you need a few tries to gauge how much strength you put into launching the disk. But after a while, anyone can get the hang of it in a matter of minutes.

This game is a test of accuracy and speed, and in a way, brings out the architect in you as there are countless combinations with which you protect your castle with.

My little brother was the only opponent I had back in those days, and I’m proud to say I beat him 8 out of 10 times. Great fun! You could literally play this for hours and it never gets boring. I don’t know what happened to it eventually but that moment in time will always be with me…for a long time to come.
